Zeitgeist is current trends and reflections of the current society being portrayed in the media through music lyrics, music videos.
Today I viewed the Lady Leshurr Queen's speech 4. We had to look out for all the social trends she has included into her song. I will share these with you in more detail below.

She uses many references to current social trends. One the first thing she refers to is Instagram. Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing and social networking service that enables its uses to take pictures and videos, and share them on a variety of social networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr. Instagram is used by many teens and has over 500 million downloads. In order to like a photo you double tap the screen, she refers to this and the heart animation shows up (just as Instagram does).

Towards the end of the song she says "got one eye on your man, fetty wap". This refers to fetty wap's eye as he lost one when he was younger due to glaucoma. He has probably the quickest rise to fame than any other hip-hop fan. He began making music only two years ago and is already topping charts. His song that put his name out what "Trap Queen" has been on billboard hot 100 for 24 weeks and peaked at no.2.
Today I also viewed another music video and looked to find four other trends in that music video.
Its a song by Ty Dolla $ign callec "Violent"

Throughout the music video, we can see footage of violent scenes of police police brutality. Police brutality videos that keep popping up on social media such as Facebook.
In the United States, major political and social movements have involved excessive force by police, including the civil rights act 1960's, anti-war demonstrations, the war on drugs, and the global war on terrorism. In 2014, the UN Committee against torture condemned police brutality and excessive use of force by law enforcement in the US, and highlighted the frequent and recurrent police shooting or fatal pursuits or unarmed black individuals.
This music video uses elements of zeitgeist through visuals in order to show us these re-occurring "incidents" that keep happening in our society.
In this next photo, its shows us the current trend of everybody going to concerts and raves and going crazy for good music. Although the song is about violence, some concerts can get out of hand and a little too crazy, even back stage.

These next photos also shows the trend of recreational drugs. Mainly marijuana.

A concert is a live music performance in front of an audience. The performance may be by a single musician, sometimes then called arecital, or by a musical ensemble, such as an orchestra, choir, or band. Concerts are held in a wide variety and size of settings, from privatehouses and small nightclubs, dedicated concert halls, entertainment centres and parks to large multipurpose buildings, and even sports stadiums. Indoor concerts held in the largest venues are sometimes calledarena concerts or amphitheatre concerts. Informal names for a concert include show and gig.Regardless of venue, musicians usually perform on a stage. Concerts often require live event support with professional audio equipment. Before recorded music, concerts provided the main opportunity to hear musicians play.

These next photos also shows the trend of recreational drugs. Mainly marijuana.
Recreational drug use is the use of a drug (legal, controlled, or illegal) with the primary intention to alter the state of consciousness (through alteration of the central nervous system) in order to create positive emotions and feelings. The popular concept of this phenomenon puts it closer to a social behaviour that many places around the world tolerate rather than to serious medical conditions such as self-medication. When a substance enters the user's body, it brings on an intoxicating effect; in terms of psychoactive drugs, such as cannabis, this is often referred to as a "high".
Drugs frequently used in hip-hop are; lean, marijuana, Xanax and ecstasy.
